Job Description
The Field Sales Supervisor is a field sales personnel that is primarily responsible for the effective implementation of sales action plans within his given area of responsibility in accordance with the established sales policies, programs, and limits of the company’s budget. Directs, Assists, and Supervises Field Sales Personnel in the performance of their assigned duties.
Ensures that both the internal and principal’s targets for sales, manned days, productivity, placement, number of accounts, and accounts receivables are met regularly
Manned Days – able to attend and log on and log off office on or before the given cut off times.
Sales Target – able to sell the required volume of all categories to all of the accounts under him
Productivity – able to sell and collect products to customers in accordance to the outlet coverage plan (OCP) and daily sales and coverage report (DSCR)
Placement – able to place all of the categories (with a given weight) of products to customers within the given amount of time (1 month)
Receivables – able to collect all of the required payment from the customer for the delivered products.
Number of Accounts – able to open, document, and serve the required number of accounts within the given area.
Documentation – able to regularly and properly document all the required data of the company on the given forms.
Ensures the work integrity of the Field Sales Personnel by regularly checking the documents of the agents (OCP, DSCR, Remittance/Stock Monitoring)
Coordinates directly with Field Sales Personnel and respective Team Leaders as well as the principal’s representative for the proper implementation of new policies and programs
Conducts regular work-with, coaching, and in-field training for Field Sales Personnel
Conducts regular assessment of assigned areas for Sales Opportunities and Threats
Conducts regular market checks to provide timely, accurate, and relevant field information (eg. Competitor Information, Current market trends etc.)
Relieves Field Sales Personnel in cases of absences or temporary vacancies
Key Performance Areas:
Average Performance of all of the Field Sales Personnel
Total Sales Target Achievement
Submission and presentation of Competitor Information to OM
Submission and presentation of Sales Opportunities and Threats to OM
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in handling Field Sales Personnel
- Experience in Field Sales
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
