Experienced Video Editor  

We’re seeking a highly motivated & EXPERIENCED Video Editor & Content Editor for a Social Media Company. The ideal individual will be able to write a story line for characters and include special effects, soundtracks, and other layouts for a variety of brands (all in different niches). You must be familiar with YouTube, Instagram, & Facebook.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with Marketing Department to develop animation form their concepts
• Video Editing: trailers, commercials, developer diaries, interviews, cinematics, b-roll, sizzle reels, etc.
• Motion Graphics: Animated slates, rotoscoping, motion/camera tracking, typography, keying, etc.
• Post-Production: color grading, sound design and mixing, encoding, mastering, archiving, etc.
• Concept and storyboard with the goals of clients in mind
• Able to work within tight deadlines and with low budgets but still able to create high quality video content
• Support the Digital Marketing Team Leader to manage social media campaigns when required
• Being able to work under pressure and meet tight editing deadlines
• Writing voice over/commentary/script

You should have:

• 1-3 years of experience focused on developing videos from concept to execution in a brand or agency setting
• Proficiency in video and photo production with D-SLR cameras (Specifically Panasonic GH4 and Canon 7D)
• Experience with visual social media platforms such as Instagram, Vine, and Snapchat
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro CC, After Effects and Final Cut Pro; Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
• Significant understanding of resolutions, bitrates, codecs and all exporting measures
• 1-3 years of experience focused on developing videos from concept to execution in a brand or agency setting
