Job Description
- Plans and Implements and evaluates sales and marketing strategies to meet the monthly sales quota as well as maintain the profitability and success of FARM MART.
- Ensures the cleanliness maintenance, safety, security and presentability of the store at all times.
- Ensures that all stock inventories of feeds, veterinary products, animal equipment, machines (incubators) and supplies of the store are properly arranged and accounted for at all times.
- Forecasting of inventories of the store to keep the storage room at the optimal level.
- Oversees the overall store operations particularly sales and service.
- Controls all documents prepared in and received by the store.
- Follows strictly the cash handling procedure of the Company for cash collection and petty cash fund.
- Sees to it that all daily collections are properly deposited during not later than the next banking day.
- Ensures the store adheres to company policies, rules and regulations at all time.
- Submits on time all reports required to the Job holder.
- Reports to the Business Development Supervisor any extraordinary incidents that are in conflict with the general interest of the company.
- Professionally sells products to dealers and farms within the area.
- Also offers the services done in the store.
- Assist finance representative during store inventory audit.
- Provides leadership and direction to the store branch personnel assigned to him/her.
- Instil integrity, discipline, and teamwork among the branch staff.
- Responsible for creating a professional retail atmosphere for the customers of Farm Mart
- Establishes daily routinary activities of the staff within the store
- Routine tasks and responsibilities of the Cashier
- Routine tasks and responsibilities of each Utilityman and/or Reliever
- Routine tasks, and responsibilities of Account Development Specialist (ADS)
- Executing its Daily Responsibilities which are the following but not limited to:
- Pushing the ADS and staff to be aware of and achieve its monthly sales targets
- Monitoring the daily sales (cash and/or credit) movements in the store
- Ensuring sales are deposited within 24 hours.
- Sales reports and remittances must be reported to the Operations Coordinator daily
- Monitoring its store inventory on a daily and weekly basis
- Ensuring that customers are serviced properly and that they are satisfied with our service.
- Initiates special projects that will result in the enhancement of Farm Mart.
- Performs duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time, by the Management Committee.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years store experience in retail operations function
- Strong understanding of retail math w/ strong analytical skills.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a collaborative team player.
- Passion for work, Goal-driven and detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage and protect confidential information with integrity and honor.
- Ability to do the following:
- Prioritize, manage and complete complex tasks with excellent time management skills.
- Adapt to change and react appropriately.
- Execute, follow-up and communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Competent in executing store and customer related promotional activities to boost the sales performance of its branch.
- Skilled in Customer Development and in building Customer Relationships
- Highly motivated when faced with work-related challenges, and is capable of working as a team player, especially in collaborative projects with Inoza Sales and Marketing, as well as the other subsidiaries of the Company.
- Possesses the analytical and presentation skills necessary to assess its branch and sell its ideas to the Business Development Supervisor
