Job Description
- Checks and evaluates farm bio-security. Ensures that the following are in place:
- Disinfectant in the foot bath in the gate.
- Truck wash is running with disinfectant.
- Spraying of the vehicle wheels and mud guard.
- Operation of decon shed and disinfection process.
- Submission of monthly general farm bio-security performance report.
- Checks and evaluates house washing and disinfection. Ensures that the following are in place:
- Submission of post cleaning checklist per house every batch (cc farm head)
- Schedule and update swab result in selected houses every batch.
- Check house washing and disinfection process.
- Check DOC quality.
- Necropsy report.
- Checks and evaluates farm vaccination.
- Checks and evaluates bird condition prior to vaccination
- Should be involved and present during farm vaccination.
- Checks vaccine intake.
- Calculates the percentage of the samples that are positive.
- On call 24 hours by the farm and technical managers for flock health monitoring.
- Weekly visit each farm at normal conditions.
- Necropsy report upon request.
- Responsible for sample evaluation in case of a disease.
- Coordinate with animal health group.
- 4. Other responsibilities.
- Submits service report to the farm managers upon visit.
- Attends a weekly meeting and submit a weekly report.
- Follow orders from immediate superiors (farm manager, technical service manager, logistics manager).
- On-call 24 hours
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
- Must have passed the PRC licensure examination for Veterinarians.
- With active PRC license.
- With an active driver’s license.
- Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft office programs.
- With good moral character.
