Job Description
The Human Resource Supervisor will mainly supervise the Visayas work unit and personnel which includes the following responsibilities:
- Interviewing of prospective employees.
- Providing and/or recommending training to employees.
- Establishing performance measures.
- Evaluating work performance.
- Providing feedback, direction, and guidance to employees.
- Keeping personnel abreast of new or revised information and recommending and/or implementing personnel actions.
- Enforcing human resource related policies and procedures.
- Acting as the point person in attending to queries and concerns regarding the following:
- Recruitment
- Training and development
- Employee benefits.
- Timekeeping
- Payroll
- Performance appraisal
- Gathering, summarizing, and analyzing information.
- Using this to make recommendation with significant impact on employees.
- Recruiting applicants by:
- Preparing job advertisements
- Sourcing candidates
- Attending career fairs
- Coordinating with colleges and universities
- Coordinating with HR Training and Development for training related activities of employees, as well as for Chooks-to-Go and Uling Roasters businesses.
- Monitoring and updating Visayas direct and indirect recruitment.
- Assisting in coordinating Employee Engagement activities.
- Preparing and delivering HR related presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's / College degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or any equivalent course.
- Preferably with 2-3 years of work experience as a Supervisor specializing in Recruitment/Staffing, Human Resource Management, Training, Compensation and Benefits, or any equivalent field.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate with people in different levels of the organization.
- Resourceful, organized, and keen to details.
- Willing to travel.
- Willing to be assigned in Cebu.

The company’s processing plants have been conferred by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) as the best and cleanest processing plants in the country with consistent Triple A ratings. In layman’s language, BAVI processing plants have been coming out with the cleanest and the best quality chicken in the country.
