Job Description

  • Set Key Performance Indicators and measurements for Human Resources effectiveness.
  • Ensure HR KPIs are met by providing guidance, leadership and expertise to the team.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Implement employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by reviewing and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommends benefit programs to management; directs the processing of benefit claims.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees including assessing training needs and monitoring training programs.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Cultivate professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant workshops, studying professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or other Business-related courses
  • Minimum of at least ten (10) years experience as an HR Practitioner w/ at least 5 years of experience in a Supervisory/Managerial role
  • Willing for Full-time employment.
  • In-depth knowledge and/or specialized training in Organizational Planning, Hiring and Selection, Compensation and Benefits, Employment Law, Organizational Development, Employee Relations, Health & Safety, Training, and Preventive Labor Relations
  • Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and people-oriented
  • Must be a team player, proactive and results-driven
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, etc.
