Social Media Executive  

THE ROLE

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Executive to join our local social media team.

Not only will you have two eyes for details, but you also a deep appreciation for the role of social media in brand building. You're also someone who is quick to experiment, pilot new tools, platforms and emerging content format. The ability to execute flawlessly is the secret ingredient to success in this role.

In this role, you will be required to demonstrate thorough knowledge, passion, commitment, and expertise on the following. This is not the exhaustive list of your responsibilities but the most important ones include:

• Conscientious management of a portfolio of regional and local social media pages such as Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, Giphy, Line, etc.
• Day-to-day social media management inclusive of creating and publishing contents on clients’ social media channels, monitoring and responding to comments and messages, and monthly reporting of all social media activities.
• Identify and integrate social media trends and cultural insights in social media content planning.
• Brainstorm ideas and concepts for the visuals and copies of monthly content calendar with a multidisciplinary team.
• Identify and advocate storytelling opportunities on owned, earned, paid and new media platforms beyond the primary channels of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Wechat, Line and Youtube.
• Attend internal and external meetings to ensure that briefs are aligned and communicated with all stakeholders.
• Champion and integrate the use of social measurements and social analytics in day-to-day social media management and brand strategy development.
• Be a role model representative of the agency’s value and processes and display proactive responsiveness in all internal activities and communications, including but not limited to, emails, Slack group chats, training workshops, work reviews and Work-in-Progress meetings.

In order to excel in this role you will need to possess a diverse set of skills and qualities, which include:

• At least 1 year on the job experience in managing social media accounts
• High emotional quotient and strong work ethics
• Proven record of diligence and meticulous attention to details
• Proven record of growing audiences across different social platforms
• Agile collaborator with a positive attitude and a team player
• Expert on running and managing large scale social media campaigns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience with social measurement and social analytics tools is a plus
