Job Description
Tasks of an Accounting Clerk:
- Monitor billing statements and payables
- Record and update book of accounts (eg. sales, purchases, cash receipts and cash disbursements)
- Collate, encode and summarize sales invoices, official receipts, proof of payments and other related documents
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual documentary requirements (eg. inventory, 1601E, 1601C, 2550M, 2550Q and 1702) to comply with BIR regulations
- Transact and deliver documents to banks, BIR, and related offices
- Handle special assignments and related transactions concerning banks and BIR
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable in MS Word and MS Excel or in similar programs
- With a basic accounting background
