Job Description

What Is Your Role

You will be implementing titles and providing first-tier support to our Client’s post-sale operation. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure implementations are executed in a timely manner according to project plans. You will also provide inbound support by responding and resolving inbound customer support queries and implementation support queries, clearly communicating timelines, and managing their expectations.

What Will You Do

This role requires a mix of technical capabilities and client-facing skills. You will be responsible for onboarding new customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring their implementation solution is successfully delivered according to plan. You must be technical enough to understand data structures that institutions are using in order to configure the platform uniquely depending on the customer’s requirements.

Implementations

  • Work closely with Project Managers to ensure implementations are executed in a timely manner according to project plans
  • Collaborate with the client’s Sales, Engineering, Product, Content Operations, and other relevant teams to ensure realistic platform expectations and customization for the customer
  • Design and improve the client’s Customer Onboarding Experience for its customers

Inbound support

  • Respond to and resolve inbound customer support queries, clearly communicating timelines and managing their expectations.
  • Respond to and resolve implementation support queries.
  • You will interact with customers to provide and process accurate, valid, and complete information with the highest degree of empathy, courtesy, and professionalism
  • Identify opportunities and recommendations for continuous process improvement
  • You are expected to deliver service excellence and maximize customer and client satisfaction
  • Work with the external team to stay updated on product and service knowledge

Minimum Qualifications

You Have…

  • Practical knowledge of SQL OR proven to experience in understanding and working with technical systems
  • The ability to manage competing priorities
  • The friendly, approachable, and confident attitude to working with customers and your colleagues
  • Aptitude to quickly learn technology concepts, with the ability to see the forest through the trees and create structured approaches to improving processes and working towards long term efficiency
  • The interest, and ideally practical experience, in how web applications work and how data moves between them
  • Excellent reading comprehension, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong and effective phone contact handling skills
  • An ability to understand and communicate complex ideas to customers and colleagues, both verbally and in written form
  • The ability to accept feedback gracefully and with an open mind
  • Intermediate understanding of common Customer Experience best practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
