Job Description
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Daily data entry of purchases and sales invoices
- Debtors and creditors management and reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and management reports
- Processing of weekly/fortnightly/monthly payroll
- Processing superannuation payments
- Preparation of quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS's)
- Preparation of Monthly Installment Activity Statements (IAS's)
- Preparation and lodgement of Annual Payment Summaries
- Completes other accounting tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Accountancy Graduate
- 1-3 year work experience.
- Experience and competency working with Excel
- Attention to details
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Self-directed with an ability to learn a systematic approach to accounting
- Highly motivated with an ability to solve practical problems and follow written, verbal or other instructions with several concrete variables
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively.
