Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
- Email management, arranging freight deliveries, chasing up
- Help to set up and document procedures
- Registering freight documents and booking and managing freight consignments
- Purchase order management
- Creating invoices, processing orders with overseas/domestic agents and arranging shipments
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English communication and strong written English skills
- Extensive transport background, with experience in dealing directly with Distribution Centres/ Receivers
- Has worked in transport, freight forwarding or despatch for a business
- Order entry skills are mandatory. Must be extremely organized and have the ability to multitask
- Must be detail-oriented and accurate in taking orders and filling out report
- Must be comfortable with redundant work and minute day-to-day variety
- Understands the industry terminology - pallet ,skid, crate stillage etc
- possess an eye for detail,
- be able to manage competing priorities,
- have good computer skills,
- have a pleasant phone manner,
- be able to build relationships to achieve required outcomes,
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
