Job Description
- Responsible for the detailed design of technical solutions, technical design, lead coding efforts throughout the development and testing phases.
- Translate requirements and designs into functional website
- Hands-on coding and utilizing a wide range of web technologies such as PHP, JQuery, NodeJS and REST API
- Integrate third party API through OAuth, and other platforms
- Design overall architecture of web application.
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
- Implement best and efficient software development practice standards
- Build secure, fast and scalable web applications
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must have 2+ years of working experience in web development
- Highly experienced with back-end programming languages (PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, .NET, etc) and frameworks (Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, etc)
- Proficient background with front-end technology such as JavaScript libraries and frameworks; AngularJS, knockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS
- Should be adept, if not fluent, in:
- Server, network, and hosting environment (AWS, Heroku, and Managed Hostings)
- Data modeling
- Relational and nonrelational databases
- Interaction with APIs and external sources
- User Interface and User Experience
- Quality Assurance
- Security concerns throughout the program
- Customer needs and business logic understandability
- Skillful in building web service integration using JSON and REST
- Self-motivated and result-oriented player with initiative
- Able to work independently and resourceful
