Responsibilities:
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Messaging Services) ensures solutions are expertly selected, designed, delivered, optimized and supported during the entire infrastructure lifecycle. In this role, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer will work collaboratively with architects, infrastructure engineers, applications teams and Technology Architecture & Business Development. Experience mentoring and independent working is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, 2013, 2016 (Minimum of 5-7 years)
- Experience designing, deploying, supporting, and trouble-shooting Microsoft Exchange in large and complex multi-forest Active Directory environments (30,000+ mailboxes)
- Experience supporting Office 365 Exchange online and Azure Active Directory
- IIS 7/8 (specific to Exchange)
- Proven experience triaging SMTP delivery issues
- Experience with message hygiene (ingress/egress) solutions (Cloud or On-Premises)
- Experience supporting external facing services including EAS, OWA and Outlook Anywhere
- Ability to write PowerShell scripts to extract information, automate routine tasks, and configure settings and/or accounts
- Experience with cloud or on-premises archiving solutions
Microsoft Lync 2010, Skype for Business (Minimum of 5-7 years)
- Experience designing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Lync/Skype for Business in a large and complex environment
- Experience with Lync Edge role, remote connectivity, federation configuration and trouble-shooting
- IIS 7/8 (specific to Lync)
- Ability to write PowerShell scripts to extract information, automate routine tasks, and configure settings and/or accounts
- Ability to use Lync and Group Policies to control client settings and configuration
- Understanding of unified communications and collaboration concepts including conferencing, telephony, audio and video protocols, voicemail, e-mail integration and collaboration tools
- Experience with Cisco Jabber would be beneficial
