Job Description
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of billing.
- Analyse, resolve or escalate any operational issues to relevant teams and own the issue through to resolution.
- Investigate billing issues and propose remedial actions.
- Ensure quick turnaround of Customer Billing queries.
- Organise and carry out proactive Operational Checks to make sure issues are found and fixed ASAP.
- Reconcile bill runs and maintain statistics and Operational KPIs.
- Responsible for Post Production Testing and UAT of changes.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers on audit of issues, bug fixing and improvements in the billing process and systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have a good knowledge and experience of Billing within mobile telecoms industry, an understanding of analysis and be confident in working across multiple business teams.
- Sound knowledge and experience of all facets of billing, covering rating, discounting, billing cycles, bill production, payments, and collections
- Proven track record demonstrating an understanding of tariff models, call data records and TAP records.
- Demonstrate technical expertise in billing, tariff frameworks, QA and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is essential.
- Working knowledge with SQL is essential
- Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills
