- Responsible for day to day testing of our public facing websites as well as new releases of internal software applications.
- Help create documentation and test processes for existing and new applications alongside with our development team.
- Many applications will be tested at the same time so this resource should be able to effectively balance their time across multiple projects.
- Assist in the preparation of detailed test plan based on the overall verification strategy
- Prepare test cases and test scripts to be use during the testing phase of the project
- Perform software system test Automation (e.g. sanity, functional, regression, integration and etc.)
- Document results of test performed during the testing phase of the project
- Prepare test reports and report status of the testing activities
- Log and tracked defects using project defined defect tracking tools
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in testing of software applications
- Good understanding of how the Web and Windows applications work
- Work with the software development team to trace and correct bugs
- Project management
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Documentation of testing procedures.
Technology
- 2+ years of testing software applications
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- JIRA (nice to have)
- Testing application suites
- Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, iOS, Android
Nice to have skills:
- Automated testing with tools
- Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Mobile testing
