Job Description
- Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
- Check and review supporting documents. Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare batches of invoices for data entry.
- Manage the weekly preparation of cheque for invoices that will be due for payment.
- Prepare summary of list of released cheques. List and maintain all cheques in the log book for submission to BEVI AP Accounting.
- Maintain updated vendor files in coordination with GL and Tax.
- Handling suppliers inquiries regarding the status of payments and any accounts payable issues.
- Liaise with other Departments to ensure invoices and expenses are correctly approved within the deadlines set.
- Check and monitor of Cash Advance Liquidation.
- Ensure that released cheque vouchers are filed properly including void cheques.
- Prepares monthly accounts payable trial balance and monthly AP ageing reports.
- All invoices should be marked as “paid”.
- Preparing and posting of journal entries as needed.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by immediate superior.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS in Accountancy, Management Accounting or equivalent;
- Preferably with background in handling Accounts Payable for 1-2 years;
- Preferably proficient in advance Excel and has strong Analytical Skills;
- Good communication skills both oral and written;
- With sense of urgency, organize, proactive and team player.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;

- Excellent problem-solving skills;
