Job Description

The Company

BCI Media Group is a leading provider of building and construction information with offices across South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. We service a large portfolio of industry professionals allowing them to maintain a competitive advantage and win new business through the use of market information provided.

The Role

  • Provide assistance (either on-site or remote) to employees regarding technical issues with VOIP phone lines, internet access, security, emails, computer issues and anything else broadly falling into the technical support category
  • Provide assistance to the Sr. Network Administrator in resolving a variety of technical issues pertaining to office equipment (Network, Hartdware, Software, etc.)
  • Investigate reported problems, working towards identifying the source of technical issues, and propose solutions. Also, conduct testing and delivery of proposed solutions
  • Prompt friendly response to end users informing about status and solution during an ongoing incident.
  • Ensure proper ticket management by providing complete and timely notifications to relevant parties and following the company’s internal support processes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of all company technical equipment
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers/vendors for troubleshooting or procurement concerns

Minimum Qualifications

The Candidate

  • BCI Asia is looking for people who are passionate when it comes to Information Technology. We need professionals who are both goal and customer-oriented, ensuring that any concerns employees have with their equipment is addressed in a prompt manner.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably 1-3 yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT; a background in a Support/Helpdesk role is preferred, but not a requirement; Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Young and outgoing, a self-starter who is very goal oriented
  • With good communication skills, both in oral and written form
  • Knowledgeable on different remote tools
  • Basic knowledge on hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience with installation, repair, maintenance and test task and determining proper solutions
  • Experience maintaining internal computer network
  • Proactive and customer-oriented
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
