Job Description
Responsibilities
- Database Administration including but not limited to, providing advice regarding possible architechtural changes to optimize operations
- Source code repository administration
- Collaboration tools administration
- Work with QA to setup representative test environments so as to enable better manual and automated testing
- Provide technical suport, investigating bugs and issues before escalating to developers for resolution
- Provide support on an as-needed basis to resolve critical issues affecting production systems
- Execute measures required to achieve service level and risk mitigation goals
Minimum Qualifications
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proven Linux and Windows administration experience (e.g. RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows 2008/2012 Server) with a focus on web (Apache/Nginx/HAproxy/Tomcat/IIS), Java application and databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
- Has experience leveraging automation and scripting to deploy, monitor and maintain a highly secure and scalable cloud services (e.g Docker, Git, Perl, Python, Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.).
- Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies such as EC2, RDS, S3, Cloud Formation, ELB/ASG
- Experience with CI and CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab)
- Has development experience (e.g Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Java)
- Strong understanding of protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP, DNS, IPSEC/VPNs and PKI.
- Understanding of Application clustering / Load Balancing concepts and technologies.
- Knowledge with PBX, CX3
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for building scalable and reliable cloud services
