Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable server-side applications and APIs using PHP and Python.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Utilize Docker to containerize applications and streamline the deployment process.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the security and data protection of backend systems.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of backend applications.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database structures and queries.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and apply them to improve our backend systems.
• Document and communicate technical specifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience);
• 3 to 4 years of job experience preferred;
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a focus on PHP and Python;
• Strong proficiency in PHP and Python, with a solid understanding of their syntax and frameworks (e.g.,CodeIgniter, Laravel, Symfony, Django);
• Experience with Node.js backend development is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Docker and experience in containerizing and deploying applications;
• Familiarity with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular);
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their design principles;
• Familiarity with database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries;
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows;
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their services;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities;
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
