Content Writer

Job Brief:

We are looking for a Content Writer to join our marketing team and improve and enhance our websites/webapps with optimized content for landing pages, dashboards, newsletters, guides, ad copies, and articles.

Content Writer responsibilities include: creating a content marketing plan and calendar, providing well-researched articles on industry-related topics such as Law and Government, Human Resource, Finance, and Business, and proofreading content before publication.

If you’re familiar with producing and generating online content and have a keen eye for details, kindly send samples of your work and links to your published articles.

Your goal is to deliver writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, and boost brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear and compelling marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Research industry-related topics using online resources, whitepapers, and studies
• Publish articles using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Submit work to editors/supervisors/managers for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing, quality assurance, development, and business development teams to illustrate articles and web copies
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Provide web copies for emails, landing pages, ads, and dashboards.
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website and newsletter content as needed

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role is an advantage
• Portfolio of published blog posts and articles
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Prior SEO experience is a plus
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge in HTML, CSS, and Javascript is a plus
• BS in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communication or related field
