Job Description
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for the full management of Purchasing Department – plans, develops, directs purchasing activities, programs, processes. In this role, he/she is in charge of ensuring sustainable capacity and supply availability from the right supplier pool composed of the best in the market providing the company the competitive advantage by ensuring the best value for the customers.
The job role includes strategic sourcing, supplier development, item development and standardization, cost, supply and risk management and negotiation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborates with different stakeholders (internal customers and suppliers) for strategic sourcing, supplier development and item development and standardization.
- Cost Management – ensuring product costs are maintained at its optimum level; track, measure, analyze company expenditures.
- Supply & Risk Management
- Supplier Relationship
- Quality Management.
- Ensuring required quantity of items based on actual consumption trend or approved forecasts.
- Adherence to government laws and regulations.
- Determines and tracks Key Performance Indicators of the department.
- Oversees the performance of staff.
- Development, execution, or review of procurement contracts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Accounting, BS Management Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of solid experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain, at least 3 years of which in a managerial capacity.
- Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material or equivalent.

We are your friendly bakery cafe that serves freshly-baked pies, cheesecakes and desserts, as well as good food and coffee.
OUR STORY:
Banapple started baking pies & cheesecakes years ago, initially for friends and family, and referred food establishments. Shortly, banapple expanded its client base to include well known food establishments and restaurants, all being served from a home-based kitchen located in Quezon City. The brand ‘banapple’ (banana + apple) was established, a contraction on the main ingredients of the banoffee pie and the apple caramel crumble pie, two of Banapple’s early hits. Banapple thereafter transferred its main kitchen to a bigger and more accessible location along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. Banapple operates a cake showroom cum cafe at the facade of this kitchen.
Banapple Pies & Cheesecakes is a novel find in the metropolis. In addition to pies, cakes and cheesecakes, Banapple serves yummy home-cooked style hot meals like the well-loved chicken parmigiano, lasagna roll-ups, and hickory-smoked country ribs as well as sandwiches, pastas, and great pancakes.
Banapple has become a pleasant landmark, and commuters stop for a quick take out to and from work and school. Bakers, waitstaff, and store management team are friendly and offer fast and personalized service.
Great for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night snacks, anyone can enjoy yummy meals and excellent desserts alongside good coffee any time of the day :)
