Chief Operations Officer  

Leads, oversees and optimizes construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of construction processes, management methodologies, and industry best practices.

1. Manages the company’s operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all departments except Finance;
2. Works closely with department heads and supervisors to support day-to-day activities of the employees;
3. Collaborates with the President and other executives to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that align with the company’s goals and objectives;
4. Provides leadership and guidance to department heads to promote culture of excellence;
5. Improves operational processes, workflows and systems to enhance productivity and business quality;
6. Oversees the planning, execution and completion of construction projects including coordination with Operations Manager, Project Managers and other Department Heads to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within the budget;
7. Provides leadership and direction to project teams, including technical Managers and Project Managers to ensure they have support, resources, and guidance needed to perform their roles effectively and achieve project objectives;
8. Develops strategies and implementation plans to improve and standardize the operations;
9. Performs other duties that may be given from time to time.

• Registered Civil Engineer or Architect
• Master’s degree is an advantage
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies and industry regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, financial management in construction projects
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Pro-active and adaptable to the changing project or client requirements
