Bacchus International, Inc was created in 1996 with the sole purpose of importing the best wines from all over the world. After having opened our first wine shop at the Shangrila Makati in 1998 with great success and support from the Philippine market, we expanded our product selection to include other fine food and beverages. To name a few, Lavazza coffee, De Cecco Pasta, Citterio Salami, Le Creuset Cookware, Riedel Wine Glasses, Labeyrie Foie Gras, Galloni Hams and U.S.D.A. Prime Beef from Wisconsin as National Philippine distributor. Focus was initially made to service the Hotel and Restaurant industry but soon after the creation of the "Bacchus Epicerie" fine wine and food retail concepts were born in 2008. Today we are showing healthy growth in both “Food Service” and Retail sectors and believe that we can attribute this to the quality of people we have and the dedication to our basic philosophy of “Highest quality ratio to price” for all our product lines.
