Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day posting of general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Maintain and update accounting records by performing duties such as recording and posting transactions in journals and the general ledger for accounts payable, accounts receivable, among others.
- Document financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Comply with local and national legal requirements by:
- Studying existing and new regulations and legislations.
- Enforcing adherence to requirements.
- Advising management on needed actions.
- File accounting records in a systematic and orderly manner.
- Perform tax processing tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- Preferably with a professional certification like, CPA.
- At least 2-3 years of work experience in the field of General Accounting.
- Knowledgeable in using Accounting Software such as Quickbooks, etc.
