Job Description
A Sales Manager is responsible for overall delivery of sales performance, acquisition of new business, retention of quality business of an area comprising of Financial Executives designated to be his/her span of control. Job also entails implementation of strategic initiatives to grow and retain the in-branch and dedicated Financial Executives model and sales targets.
A. Sales Management:
- Supervises Financial Solutions Associates/Specialists to ensure delivery of prescribed business activities (e.g. Conversational selling, Financial Needs based selling, etc.) and performance levels in the area of assignment. Daily monitoring of Dedicated FE’s sales activity.
- Utilizes coaching tools to teach, facilitate and guide Dedicated FEs to build capabilities that will maximize sales performance that will promote retention.
- Communicates to FE appropriate BA correspondence and memorandum in a timely manner
- Ensures team compliance of company policies and provisions as specified under the company’s Code of Ethics and Market Conduct Guidelines.
- Execute efficient expense management.
B. JV Relations Management:
- Builds and maintains cordial business relationship with MBTC Area Head, Branch Heads, and staff
- Executes prescribed activities that will develop sales and marketing capabilities of branches within the area
- Communicates BA’s initiatives, campaigns, and product related updates to all branches in the area in a timely manner
- Technical Know How
- Ensures comprehensive product knowledge of AXA products and services
- Continuous development of sales management skills and capabilities through ongoing compliance to training and development and adherence to defined sales management process
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, any field.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Sales - Financial Services (Insurance, Unit Trust, etc) or equivalent.
- At least 3 years solid Sales Management experience in Bancassurance / Insurance / Financial Services is required.
