Senior Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

• Lead and mentor junior security analysts, providing guidance and expertise.

• Monitor security feeds and dashboards for anomalies and potential threats.

• Analyze security logs and events to identify, investigate, and escalate high-priority security incidents.

• Coordinate and manage incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.

• Proactively hunt for threats and vulnerabilities within our network and systems.

• Perform security assessments and penetration testing activities.

• Configure and maintain security tools and technologies, including threat

• intelligence platforms and EDR solutions.

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.

• Stay up to date on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities and translate

  them into actionable insights for the team.

• Generate reports and presentations on security incidents and trends.

• Collaborate with other security team members, IT professionals, and business stakeholders to improve security posture.

• Drive continuous improvement within the security organization by proposing and implementing new initiatives.

• Good to have

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

  • Cloud security experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Experience with incident response frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework).

  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).

Junior Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

• Continuously learn and explore new security methodologies and technologies.

Senior Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Security Analyst or similar role.

• Proven track record of successfully investigating and resolving security incidents.

• Strong understanding of security concepts, including network security, endpoint security, threat intelligence, and incident response.

• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, Threat Intelligence Platforms).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on root cause analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
