Job Description

Data analytics manager serves a specialized role for structuring, tracking, measuring, visualizing, and analyzing the data essential to business operations like (including but not limited to) workforce planning, client success management, productivity and efficiency, and sales management.

DAM also takes the lead on developing processes for effective data analysis and reporting. The role of DAM requires an understanding of both the short-term goals and long-term business strategy of an organization, the data analytics managers can develop recommendations on how best to put data analytics to use for company growth.

A DAM must have the ability to produce understandable and actionable reports gleaned from data. Interpreting data and reporting key findings are important strengths required in this role.

Data analytics managers report directly to the VP of Growth.

Responsibilities include:

Takes charge of the data mining, and gathering through SalesForce and other tools available to the company for tracking.

• DAM is also responsible for Data cleaning and visualization for reporting purposes, making data a lot more understandable and will be highly appreciated by team managers and C-suites.

• Prescriptive Analytics
  • Pricing Structure and Strategy

• Develop effective business intelligence strategies and analytics solutions when the need for a new metric or performance tracking arises.
• With close coordination and collaboration with the VP for Growth, DAM will apply statistics and data modeling to gain actionable business insights and boost customer productivity and revenue.
• Keep abreast of industry best practices and policies when it comes to business analytics.

Job Requirements:

A degree in a numerate discipline such as statistics, economics, or mathematics is normally required, although qualifications in operational research or medical/life sciences are also acceptable.

A relevant postgraduate qualification is essential for graduates without appropriate first degrees. Prior relevant work experience is a big plus, but not a requirement.
