Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Analytics

  • Your day-to-day work will often be done in a Tag Management System. You will be building code, troubleshooting code, performing QA on your solutions and delivering them to clients.
  • You will meet with clients daily to understand requests and review the results of your previous work. It is important that you feel confident speaking in these situations and explaining the work that you have done in written communication and verbally, while on video.
  • Advise, educate, and build awareness of best practices in relation to client’s specific industry and key business requirements
  • Gather, document and help form/guide client technical requirements and other functional and/or technical requirements
  • Design customized solutions and execute technical tag implementations
  • Develop customized digital analytics code and assist with its implementation and deployment
  • Validate and debug implementation and follow through on issues until resolved
  • Build Facebook SDK implementation server to server for events
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to analyze analytics and metrics to support decision-making, especially as it relates to ticketing and lead list analysis and develop reports and dashboards to measure the success of CRM campaigns and other projects

Systems

  • Engage with product and engineering to drive and improve the whole lifecycle of operational readiness - from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement proactively
  • Write software layers, scripts, deployment frameworks, tracers, monitors, self-healing/auto-remediation tools and automate the processes
  • Build and maintain software modules for use and re-use in the cloud and on-premise systems automation
  • Maintain business continuity by identifying and driving opportunities to make systems highly resilient and minimize human intervention
  • Assist our software engineering team to ensure accurate monitoring and metrics are being built into applications before going to production
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on deployments, processes, and standard operating procedures/run-books
  • Troubleshooting and system engineering exposure in ( ) production environments; experience with ( ), Internet Protocols, and Large-Scale Operations

Email

  • Act as a content creation expert for clients and internal teams.
  • Integrate email content into email platforms for campaign deployment, including Can Spam requirements.
  • Consult and troubleshoot on HTML/text mailings, dynamic content personalization, and URL issues.
  • Conduct content quality assurance tests to ensure the coding meets clients' expectations.
  • Recognize opportunities for coding efficiencies (experience with templates and wireframes).
  • Integrate with 3rd parties such as a live clicker, movable ink, etc.
  • Create and modify landing pages as needed. Perform code and creative reviews to optimize code and QA best practices.

Marketing Platforms

  • Develop automation and segmentation campaigns that help in gain a better understanding of our fanbase and drive revenue
  • Develop and execute email and mobile messaging campaigns that drive revenue growth across SSE properties through retention, cross-sell, and up-sell.
  • Work with Cross-functional teams, in the creation, scheduling, and deployment of all email and mobile messaging campaigns,
  • Design and execute tests that support key hypotheses and deliver actionable learnings that contribute to business growth.

Database Marketing

  • Develop the fan data capture plan across multiple channels with the goal of growing the SSE database and enriching the current data profiles
  • Develop data collection processes and ensure all prospects are entered, tracked, and distributed to the CRM system
  • Serve as email delivery and acquisition authority across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working in database marketing, marketing analytics, or marketing technology; experience in a high-performing marketing organization is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required

  • Demonstrated knowledge of e-mail marketing and marketing communication trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills
  • Experience with SAP Marketing Cloud or similar marketing platform
  • A strong advocate for process and project management
  • Experience with configuration management systems (CRMs, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Bing Ads, Linkedin Ads,)
  • Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure stack – particularly in the areas of networking (VPCs, security groups), VMs (EC2), databases (RDS), load balancing (ELB, ALB)
  • Experience with administering SQL/NoSQL Databases (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra) is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Multi-tasker that is comfortable in an environment of ambiguity, where decisions need to be made quickly.
  • Self-starter that can work independently and show initiative to solve problems in new ways.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, team player with solid multi-tasking, time management & organization expertise with the ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities
  • Excellent information management practices, such as thorough documentation, usage of wikis, and other collaboration tools
  • Ability to scope project work, estimate effort and then break down work into sub-tasks
  • Strong intuition about system design, robustness, and scalability
  • Ability to hand-code HTML files optimized for email.

  • Proven ability to implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Strong technical and functional proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks including, and not limited to: Profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, roles, workflows, processes, flows, validation rules, approval processes, email alerts, advanced formulas, custom objects, reports, dashboards, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages, and installed packages
  • Strong experience with data manipulation and maintenance with Excel, Data Loader, and other tools
  • Experience supporting large Salesforce environments with several integrated applications
  • Entry Level Salesforce Coding would be a plus
