Job Description
Online marketing fast-growing startup originally based in Sydney with team members based in Sydney, Hawaii and Europe. The business is still small but extremely international serving customers from over 35+ countries. We provide online marketing education to eCommerce entrepreneurs and small eCommerce businesses. We pride ourselves in having huge goals, great relationships with our customers and with the fact that we really care about great results for us and our customers. General responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Becoming an integral part of our business with a close relationship to the management of the company and all key areas of the business (marketing, advertising, teaching content, technology)
- Customer relationship building via:
- Personalized best in class customer service via email (approx. 60% of the role)
- Includes general inquiries, cancellations, complaints, and disputes
- Welcoming our customers via live video calls
- Members-only social media platform management
- Live events/masterclasses support
- Simple reporting
- Marketing support
- Managing ad hoc projects such as digital marketing content library, interviewing testimonials, or simple video edits
- (Emails, Chats, and Calls)
Minimum Qualifications
Our ideal candidate:
- Is a fast learner & gets excited about learning something new in a completely new area
- Loves change and variety as our processes and structures are continually changing and evolving and we’re looking for a candidate who could take a lead on figuring out the best in class solutions for the business and our customers.
- Has an outgoing personality and is not afraid to speak to strangers as there’s lots of face to face interaction with the team and customers
- Has superb customer service attitude, ambition, thinking outside the box, proactiveness and problem solving
- Is an all rounder and not strictly just a customer service person as the role stretches across the whole business
- Must be excited about great customer service and latest best in class digital marketing solutions
- Might not have managerial or leadership experience just yet but has the ambition to become a leader and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, step up and grow into the leadership role.
- Has superb English language skills (written & spoken)
- The ability to summarise and problem solve (this is an absolute must)
- Project management skills (or at least the willingness to learn). At times, we work to tight deadlines and hence project management skill set is welcomed.
- Is ready to take on responsibilities and not tasks.
- Is a team player who’s ready to take on a new challenge, accountability and deadlines.
- Is looking for a career and not just a job
