Job Description
The role of Accountant within an organization is therefore to maintain the financial records of an organization by recording transactions on a daily basis. He or she does this by performing the following tasks and assuming the following responsibilities:
- Making journal entries for all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Bookkeeping
- Monthly closing and Year end closing
- Filing source documents for all journal entries recorded.
- Posting journal entries to ledger accounts.
- Preparing trial balances.
- Financial Statements
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Preparing cash flow statements.
- Preparing financial reports.
- Performing other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- CPA passer
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Familiar with Oracle NetSuite
- Experience with US or European Account
- US GAAP or IFRS
- Year end closing (USA or Europe)
- Required Skill(s): Strong analytical and planning skills, Good communication and presentation skills, Excellent problem-solving skills, Keen to details, Highly organized, Excellent communication skills
