Risk Solutions & Analytics Officer  

Role Summary

The Risk Solutions & Analytics Officer is primarily responsible for evaluating portfolio performance, identifying, communicating, and monitoring investment risks, and ensuring that portfolio management is consistent with internal and external limits.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop strong, effective working relationships with company’s management and internal customers at each property to communicate company’s risk objectives and vision and to coordinate risk related processes.
• Produce monthly/quarterly/annual reports for key risk metrics, performance measures, trend analysis and any other reports required for presentation to senior management and internal business partners.
• Implement, administer, and monitor risk management techniques / strategies to efficiently and cost- effectively manage those risks (i.e.: risk transfer, risk mitigation / loss control, risk avoidance, risk elimination, risk retention, etc.).
• Effectively interact with company’s risk team in communicating company’s risk related goals and objectives.
• Act as an in-house resource to educate, advise, and counsel company management and business partners where necessary to reduce or transfer risks.
• Participate in forums, risk management educational programs and other educational opportunities to stay abreast of emerging issues affecting risks.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness

• Relevant educational qualifications, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Accounting or similar courses
• Preferably with relevant experience in asset management or related industry
• MBA/CFA/CPA is a plus
• Solid understanding of investment theories and financial instruments and an in-depth knowledge of fixed income and equity markets and investment trends
• Strong analytical abilities with solid quantitative and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Excel and trading systems (Bloomberg, etc.)
• High level of integrity
