Fund Accountant  

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of daily Net Asset Values.
• Prepare pricing report, i.e., corporate holdings pricing report.
• Ensure that all facets of review process of daily net asset value are optimally cleared, settled, reconciled, recorded and reported within the prescribed standards and timeliness according to regulatory and internal standards.
• Ensure the books and records are accurate at various levels
• Prepare various BIR tax remittances and forms (DST, EWT, quarterly and annual income tax returns, CWT certificates).
• Prepare operating expense disbursements.
• Assist in preparing various audit requirements.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies; maintain compliance awareness.
• Performs back-up for Fund Administrator and Senior Fund Accountant.
• Update records and organizes documents sent offsite
• Assist in the continuous development of processes and systems (both manual and automated) for fast and accurate transactions.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Senior Fund Accountant or Fund Operations Head.

• Relevant educational qualifications, particularly a university degree in accountancy
• Must be a CPA
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, particularly in accounting operations in banking or investments industry

• Knowledge of the banking and financial services industries and asset management products
• Knowledge of investment regulations and asset management industry trends
• Efficient and thorough; strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment; firm commitment on quality and excellence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout an organization
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a relatively unstructured environment
• Proficiency with MS Office applications particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, as well as familiarity with trading systems (Bloomberg etc.)
• Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts, experience with bank accounting and financial statement analysis
• Well conversant with accounting standards (IFRS GAAP)
• Ability to identify and resolve potential issues / problems
• High level of integrity
