Job Description
The main responsibilities of the Business Development Officer include:
- Assist the Business Development Head in expanding client base
- Identifying sales prospects and converting on-line sales leads
- Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Researching organizations, individuals, and market trends to find new opportunities, and help set the strategic direction of the team
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Organizing sales activities to generate new business
- Finding and developing new materials and improving sales
- Represent the company in conferences, meetings, and industry events
- Making sure that the partner has a clear idea of the business model that they will have by providing necessary information to the client
Minimum Qualifications
- Relevant educational qualifications, preferably a university degree in economics, finance, business, accounting or similar courses
- Relevant work experience in the fields of banking or asset management, particularly in the function of relationship management
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
