Job Description

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and delivery of the learning objectives of Institutions and Corporate Universities and the overall project team composed of course designers, facilitators, training assistant/s, and Ateneo partner Center.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

TNA and Curriculum Management

Organize and manage a working team (Resource Persons pool, course designers, other consultants and experts) who will be facilitating and accomplishing the following activities.

  • Needs Assessment & Curriculum Design
  • Reviews needs assessment analyses/results/reports/ curriculum output of the Curriculum Designer Team
  • Presents curriculum design to client

Course Design

  • Coordinates/Liaises with the Ateneo CCE Program Sales Group Head on the requirement of course content, schedule, Faculty/ Resource person allocation for topics within modules, methods of delivery and assessment and documentation
  • Orients Course Designers, Facilitators and Program Assistant/s on history and proceedings related to the curriculum as it relates to his/her assigned course
  • Communicates expectations with Course Designer/Facilitator on his/her assigned course, which includes instructions on the participants’ project outputs
  • Communicates logistic and students care expectations with the Training Services Group for program roll-out
  • Supports the Course Designer in the development of the course design by:
    • Sourcing content materials from client, as required by the course designer
    • Assisting Course Designer in looking for reference materials
    • Reviewing the reference materials sourced by Training Assistant
    • Attending meetings (internal walkthrough, client walkthrough, coaching feedback/debriefing session), wherein he/she is expected to:

Facilitate the meetings

  • Review and approve meeting highlights & incorporation of feedback in course design drafted by Training Assistant
  • Send final meeting highlights & incorporation of feedback in course design to facilitator and client
  • Oversees the Training Services Group in the following areas:
  • Preparation of reference, instructional materials, and other materials related to each course (e.g. sourcing, reproduction of materials)
  • Documentation of meetings and actual sessions
  • Crafting of terminal reports for each course

Course Materials

  • Reviews workbook and course materials prepared by the Training Assistant
  • Monitors participants feedback during its actual conduct
  • Collaborates with the facilitator (current & next course facilitators) in making necessary adjustments to the course design

Evaluation Plan

  • Manage process leading to programme assessment and make recommendations for the improvement of course strategy, delivery and documentation.
  • Track program progress and ensure milestones are met on schedule.
  • Document the client’s program roll-out and results of student evaluation for school report.

Management of Client

  • Coordinates with client with regards to the organizational context and requirements for the course design
  • Updates client on the actual sessions through the creation of daily reports
  • Submits a terminal report for each course, initially drafted by the Program/Training Assistant
  • Submits a consolidated report upon completion of all courses in the curriculum

Budget and Finance

  • Coordinates with the Program Sales & Marketing Group Head:
  • Preparation of the annual Revenue Projections
  • Procurement of necessary equipment, contracting of services, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Course Design –ability to develop content based on defined learning objectives and goals
  • Problem Solving - searches for the best ways to meet the learner's goals and objectives
  • Project Management – defining clear goals, formulating and implementing program plans and evaluating outcomes
  • Research - be up to date with new educational theories& concepts, new standards for development and so on.
  • Networking and Relationship Management – establishing, developing and maintaining productive relationship with partners and other stakeholders over time.
  • Communications– knowledge of business communication, dissemination techniques and methods.
  • Assertiveness-can assert Ateneo’s scope of responsibilities and service agreements with the clients and contracted group
  • Change Management – managing resistance to change by involving and engaging key stakeholders in the process of change

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strongly recommended:
    • Experience working in a multicultural environment is strongly recommended
    • Experience in the area of education/training/learning and development, Executive Education, Organization development, and Talent management is an advantage.
    • Educational administration is strongly recommended;
    • Experience in curriculum design and content development
  • Work experience in a managerial role and with MBA units or degree are an advantage

The Ateneo Graduate School of Business - Center for Continuing Education (AGSB-CCE) was established to complement the existing Ateneo-BAP Institute of Banking, a consortium between the Ateneo de Manila University and the Bankers Association of the Philippines. It was initially known as the Basic Leadership Program (BLP) until the name was changed to Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and then finally, to Center for Continuing Education (CCE).
