Job Description

  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains organisation’s staff by:
    • Establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program.
    • Counseling managers on candidate selection.
    • Conducting and analysing exit interviews.
    • Recommending changes.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programmes.
  • Maintains a pay plan by:
    • Conducting periodic pay surveys.
    • Scheduling and conducting job evaluations.
    • Preparing pay budgets.
    • Monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions.
    • Recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by:
    • Training Managers to coach and discipline employees.
    • Hearing and resolving employee grievances.
    • Counseling employees and Supervisors.
  • Maintains employee benefits programmes and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing available benefits and trends.
  • Ensures legal compliance by:
    • Monitoring and implementing applicable human resource DOLE and Philippines labour law requirements.
    • Conducting investigations.
    • Maintaining records.
    • Representing the organisation at hearings.
    • Advising senior management of any legal compliance issues for their consideration and response.
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintains historical human resource records by:
    • Designing a filing and retrieval system.
    • Keeping past and current records in line with DOLE regulations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by:
    • Attending educational workshops.
    • Reviewing professional publications.
    • Establishing personal networks.
    • Participating in professional societies.
  • Represents Able Atalian with any CBA, DOLE and other government agencies to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Completes human resource operational requirements through constant recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains Able Atalian staff job performance levels by:
    • Counseling and disciplining employees.
    • Planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Works with and holds regular meetings with our customers' HR departments to ensure good customer service and productive relations.
  • Has in place a continuous succession planning process for all departments.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed by operations.
    • KPI measured by each site being fully manned without the need for overtime or customer penalties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor's/College degree or a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Social Science, Sociology, Psychology, Management, or any equivalent course.
  • At least 5 years experience/work in the related field.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Generally can maintain and enhances the organization human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and all practices within local labor laws.
  • Willing to be assigned in Mandaue, Cebu.
