Job Description
- Collection of all debts in a timely manner, across high value and low value accounts;
- Actively chase outstanding debts via telephone calls and emails;
- Take responsibility for allocated sections of the debtors ledger including reporting and reconciliation of the same;
- Meet cash flow targets, particularly around the end of the month;
- Perform other credit related tasks as may be required or requested by the Manager;
- Provide timely feedback in relation to any business issues arising in the debt collection process; and
- Liaise with dmanagers to ensure that all outstanding debtors are contacted and followed up.
Minimum Qualifications
- Have a proven experience as accounts receivable or Collections officer, ideally within a large corporate company or shared services office;
- Consumer collections experience;
- At least two years’ experience in collections;
- Account management experience with low volume to high value, as well as high volume to low value; and
- A great customer service focus.
