Job Description

  • The Operations Manager will report to the CEO and will be responsible for the strategic planning and development of the agency in accordance with policies and procedures, relevant statute and National Guidelines
  • Strategic management oversight of all aspects of the registration area
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, through the implementation of policy, procedure, quality assurance and audit within the registration
  • Ensure that the company service levels are achieved at all times. Act quickly and positively to address and resolve customer problems
  • Manage the efficient day to day processing and delivery of freight through the effective management of depot, driver and traffic office teams
  • Ensure risk is effectively managed through compliance with all company policies including Health and Safety as well as operating within legal and regulatory requirements
  • To be involved with the overall development across the organisation to ensure quality and compliance in all areas
  • To ensure the highest level of quality service throughout the registration through continual development
  • Lead responsibility for ensuring registration compliance with all fostering regulations and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Playing a key role in the development of new services and the overall strategic growth and development of the fostering service

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten (10) yrs or more of experience within a leadership role
  • Prior experience working within the facilities, utilities, construction industry or other service provider
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customer, and the general public
  • Industrial experience would be beneficial for this role
  • Maintenance background desirable
  • Experience of managing multiple sites, managing and scheduling is essential for this role
  • Must be organised and flexible around the needs of the business
  • Experience of producing great results by staying focused on the big picture in planning and managing different projects, along with your own systems to get the details right and stay on top of deadlines;
