Job Description
The candidate will actively engage in monitoring the performance relative to risk-taking and limit adherence, including:
- Proactively participate in ad hoc projects assigned from time to time
- Monitor adherence to the Risk Appetite Statement and the Group Recovery Plan, key risk triggers/limits
- Responsible to prepare regular and ad hoc risk management reports for seniors and Board members
- On-going follow-up of new release of regulatory requirements and new policies
- Periodically review the group / affiliated companies’ risk policies
- Review and giving advisory to the group / affiliated companies in developing risk mitigation standards and processes
- Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company and the group / affiliated companies
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably Master's Degree but not less than a Bachelor’s Degree in any of following discipline: Finance/Accounting/Mathematics/Statistics/Industrial Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience in Risk Management, preferably from policy and regulation / integrated risk management areas
- Fair understanding of financial institution policy and regulation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Willing to work under pressure with strong teamwork spirit
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
