Job Description
- Evaluates the organization's data processing and storage needs and develops long-term plans to meet business requirements;
- Develops, implements, monitors, and recommends changes to capacity allocation, decommissioning and forecasting processes and procedures;
- Working with operations and business teams to define proactive system and application utilization/capacity targets and thresholds;
- Reviews and approves IT systems configuration changes as they relate to capacity changes including areas that affect software licensing compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
- IT/Engineering background;
- 3 to 4 years of related experience, especially planning ability on cloud environment;
- Proven budget management accountability;
- Intermediate level of understanding on procurement process;
- Proven ability in producing accurate capacity planning/forecasts;
- Proven ability to articulate complex issues in both public and private stakeholders, both internally and externally;
- Knowledge on statistical analysis, capacity/performance modeling, testing and problem solving methodologies;
- Demonstrated capability modeling application system capacity using statistical, analytical and simulation models;
- Intermediate level understanding of server and application performance metrics and performance analysis.
