Job Description
- Understand new features and enchancements and participate in design reviews
- Define test methodology and detailed test plans based on the requirement and features
- Create test scripts based on the provided requirement and specifications
- Analyze failures and help in determining root cause
- Drive bug tracking and resolution
- Accurate and timely reporting of test progress, risks, and issues
- Assist in the improvement of overall QA process
- Execute test scripts during test cycles with agreed upon schedule
- Ensure development team delivers testable high-quality code
- Automate QA test flows and regression test runs using automation frameworks
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or other relevant fields
- At least 3 years of experience in software application testing
- Knowledge in multiple testing disciplines such as UIS (Unit, Integration and System) testing, Performace testing, Load and Stress testing, and Regression testing
- Experience in test document preparation, test estimates, test case creation, test execution, test monitoring and reporting
- Track record of designing tests using various techniques
- Experience with test automation tools
- Experience with multiple databases, such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Familiarity with continuous integration servers such as Jenkins, Travis, and CircleCl
- Familiar with Agile Development and Scrum process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
