Job Description
- Lead the Food & Beverage team by guiding and giving the motivation in achieving the annual business plan and yearly key performance indicators
- Oversee the day to day operations of the Food & Beverage Division ensuring all service standards are followed
- Prepare an annual budget, annual strategic plan and administer in a fiscally responsible manner to achieve the goals and targets therein
- Implement effective control of food, beverage, labor and operating expenses throughout the F&B Division in line with the achievement of their financial and operational targets
- Ensure the implementation of standards in guest service and constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profits.
- Drive innovative promotions, menus, and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both Hotel and external guests
- Oversee the selection, training, and development of F&B Staff to ensure productivity and career growth
- Understands and strictly adheres to the rules and regulations established in the Code of Good Behavior and to the policies concerning fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Carries out other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous Food & Beverage experience in a senior leadership role required
- University/ College degree in related discipline required
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Good and effective communication skills to both internal & external guests
- Willing to be deployed with other Astoria Properties
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Can start immediately
