Job Description
- 24X7 Treat and event monitoring.
- Monitoring, validation and escalation of incidents for all security platforms across Globe Telecom.
Responsibilities include:
- Documentation of events and incidents
- Ticket creation and closure of incidents/events
- Health and Event Check on all managed security device
- Audio and Visual alerts and 1st level log extraction
- Provide progress report/ response to customers (NTG, IG, ISG and EG) within the agreed SLA
- Perform admin task and adhoc service (SO/FT filling, MOP Ticket creation, RAAWA, onsite support assistance, virus /malware disinfection etc.).
- Perform report generation ( Daily , Weekly and Monthly for monitoring report).
- Perform basic level 1 isolation and troubleshooting both network / security related.
- Perform connectivity , traffic behavior analysis and Firewall policy checking etc.
- Level 1 response and escalation related to security threat and malicious incident (Phising, hacking, virus attack).
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Networking concepts , Network security and cyber attack methods.
- Familiar with Network and Security devices (Firewalls, Routers, IDP, Switches, web proxy, antivirus, Anti-Spam, Anti-DDos, EndPoint Detection and Response Software , SIEM and other security tools)
- With customer service attitude, able to stand pressure and execute the work within the SLA.
- Proficiency in computer Operating System (Windows, Linux, Mac etc.) and Ticketing System (Archer, Service Now, Remedy etc.)
- Familiar with network and routing protocols.
- Basic knowledge in Windows and Linux system administration and programming language.
- Graduate of Information Technology /IT Security / Computer Science or Engineering
- 1-2 yrs IT networking / security related experience
