Job Description
- Discuss and effectively plan project timeline with project managers
- Video adaptation: Modification, resizing, localizing based on briefs and translation files while ensuring qualilty output adheres with client and company standards
- Video editing: Edit and splice raw footage together from sources and shoots, and combine it with other scenes to produce a final edit which has continuity and is cohesive altogether.
- Work of several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Communicate with project managers when working on tasks
- Creation of subtitle file from provided transcript file
- Integration of subtitle file into videos using After Effects
- Ensure that quality of the output adheres with the standards of the client or the company
- Video localization: localization of on-screen texts using provided assets and translation files
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with passion in Video Editing
- 1-2 years working experience in Adobe Creative Suite tools - either Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator or Final Cut
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Adobe After Effects
- Excellent designing skills
- Proven experience as a video editor, showing a portfolio is a plus
- Experience in using Vimeo and Adobe Premiere is a plus
- Some experience of using video editing equipment
- Knowledge and a good understanding of motion graphics is preferred.
- Creative thinker
- Basic knowledge for Final Cut and Adobe Illustrator
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong consistency and attention to detail
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and proven problem solving-ability
- Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
