Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Updating of website layout such as images, text, styling in HTML, layout tweaks, etc.
  • Uploading of website content on the client’s CMS on a regular monthly basis such as updating the events calendar (1000 events per month ) and updating the landing page carousel on the website with new feature articles (10 articles per month)
  • Performing scans of the website on a weekly basis for 404 errors and repair broken links (about 30 a week)
  • Carry out testing / debugging on websites and mobile apps applying test case scenarios and prepare summary reports to document the test outcomes
  • Migrate HTML pages from old website to new website (about 500 pages)
  • Select images from stock, crop, resize, optimise and compress images
  • General administrative support such as data-entry, transcribing and extracting text from PDF
  • Select the 10 articles to feature on the landing page on a monthly basis and write short , interesting teasers to promote the featured articles
  • Write interesting short copy to promote the featured articles on Facebook and Instagram
  • Support on-page SEO optimization keyword search results via the copywriting done

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Digital Support Executive/Assistant or similar role
  • Competent in HTML, CSS, and Wordpress to carry out the key responsibilities
  • Excel in Web Content Uploading, good working knowledge of web design and publishing
  • Very Versatile and Organised in filing HTML files, images, and other assets (migrating pages)
  • High Attention to detail e.g few or no mistakes when uploading content
  • Strong Command of English required to understand content and write short copy and teasers on websites
  • Creative Flair for writing interesting and appealing short copy to promote web content on Facebook and Instagram
  • Familiarity with On-Page SEO keyword optimisation and web traffic tracking metrics ( a plus )
  • Responsive and strong interpersonal skills required for teamwork
  • Hardworking, self-motivated and disciplined team player who is able to complete routine daily tasks every day and meet set deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, marketing/communications or another relevant field
