Job Description
- Responsible for the main support and involvement in the preparation of detailed design drawing package of assigned projects from the schematic design stage up to the tender documents stage.
- Assists the Team Lead Architect in the preparation of the drawing list and target details to ensure that the target schedule will be met.
- Prepares CAD blocks, templates and REVIT families and libraries in coordination with the Architectural Technicians.
- Prints and checks accomplished drawings in the standard format as part of the QA process and ensure that all documentary requirements are met.
- Maintains constant coordination with the allied engineering discipline on all utility requirements and structural components that will complete the information to progress the scheduled works.
- Verifies and confirms all information provided by the Principal Architect to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the drawings produced.
- Reviews, studies, and applies the required provisions of the building codes in all drawing assignments and make sure to pass all information, also, to the Architectural Technicians for extended learning.
- Attends on all coordination meetings per assigned projects in order to address various concerns with the allied engineering discipline.
- Ensures the completeness and accuracy of all assigned drawings by doing individual review and check per drawing sheet.
- Assists the TeamLead Architect in the plotting of design drawings and use them as part of the review process that will be undertaken by the Principal Architect.
- Assists the Principal Architect and Senior Architect in the research of materials and finishes to complete the detailed design drawings per project and compile them accordingly.
- Develops standard details to be used by the Architectural Technicians in the preparation of REVIT Architectural libraries that will be used for the preparation of tender and construction documents.
- Reviews and checks files of previous projects and gather available files of construction drawings and details to be used in future projects and be part of the architectural library.
- Identifies problematic areas in construction details that need additional research and development in order to meet specific client needs.
- Assists the Principal Architect on special projects that may be assigned by top management involving design and supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
- An Architecture graduate, creative, analytical, proactive, and has good communication and coordination skills and can work with minimum supervision.
- Registered Architect; Passed PRC licensure board exam for Architect.
- Relevant solid experience in the preparation of detailed construction/design drawings of different types of projects such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional, etc. earned from an active architectural design firm.
- At least 2 years of solid experience in the use of Autodesk Revit Architecture and have done projects using at least LOD 300 starting from the workspace or from AutoCAD model.
- Extensive experience in developing construction details of various materials such as steel, glass, aluminum, timber and other finishes.
- At least 1-year user of Revit Architecture software design program
- Well-versed in Auto CAD for at least 3 solid years and is capable of producing clear, concise and correct detailed drawings from concept stage or schematic design up to the tender and issue for construction stages.
- Knowledge in the preparation of Computer-Aided 3D Perspectives (3D Max, Sketch-up, etc.) is a great advantage.
- Adept in the preparation of outline specifications of materials and finishes and should be able to use them in the preparation of detailed design drawings.

- PRC Licensed Architects who are available to join ARCADIS immediately on direct hire permanent Employment Contract with benefits, with start work date of any date between November 6, 2017 to December 4, 2017
- Senior Architect applicants must have design experience of at least 7 years in Building projects and Revit Architecture user.
- Mid-level Architect applicants must have design experience of at least 4 to 5 years in Building projects and Revit Architecture user.
- Junior Architect applicants must have design experience of at least 1 to 3 years in Building projects and Revit Architecture user.
- Applicants with no PRC license yet; or applicants without Revit Architecture user experience; or applicants who cannot join ARCADIS any day from November 6 to December 4, 2017 need not apply.
