Job Description
- Under the general guidance of Director of Sales & Marketing and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, assist DOSM in the day to day sales efforts of the for targeting new corporate FIT, MICE, leisure and banquet business.
- Set sales targets and specific performance metrics, aligned with business strategies
- Supervise and support sales executives to ensure client satisfaction
- Communicate with clients at a senior level to resolve issues and inquiries
- Generate innovative ideas to support customers and boost brand awareness
- Use client feedback to improve customer experience
- Report on sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements
- Identify and approach potential clients
- Ensure brand consistency
- Stay up-to-date with corporate events and provide support to clients and the sales team
- Organize meetings with the sales team to ensure all members are on board and deliver within deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years proven work experience as a Sales Manager in the Hotel and Resort industry
- Hands on experience with Channel Manager software, Property Management System (PMS) as well as MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service attitude
- Team management skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- BSc degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
