Job Description

This role is within our flexible benefits administration team in providing administration of employee, client and third party queries and reports, assisting with implementation, renewal and ad-hoc project activities with the Business Analysts and other Teams, executing test plans, assisting in operational efficiencies and continuous improvement activities in relation to our flexible benefit client schemes, in accordance with Aon’s and our clients’ standards of service.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • All administration on assigned client schemes.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to resolve and source census data queries within agreed SLA’s.
  • Monthly payroll, insurer and all other report processing including data analysis for all clients within agreed SLA’s.
  • Communicate effectively and support client / member enquiries (mailbox and phone) relating to benefits, enrolment, and in-house system access within agreed SLA’s.
  • With collaboratively and in partnership with the Claims Admin Team to resolve queries, issues and meet Aon’s and clients’ standards of service deliverables and SLA’s.
  • Work with Regional Configuration Team to resolve queries to agreed SLA’s.
  • Work with the Business Analyst in the execution of testing strategies for internal acceptance testing (IAT) to ensure quality of system build to agreed SLA’s.
  • Assist team members in more complex / project activities when required e.g. client renewals / implementations.
  • Provide support to Business Analysts and Consultants in maintaining the client base.
  • Work collaboratively with team members in sharing knowledge and solutions.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of clients' flexible benefits schemes and requirements.
  • Ensure teams and individual processing productivity and quality targets are met.
  • Ensure that all client business rules, operational processes and compliance regulations are followed and met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education & Certification:
    • Diploma or university degree desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience :
    • 1 – 3 years in a current administration role managing insurance or flexible benefits.
  • Competencies :
    • Good planning, time management and organization skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
    • Able to work under pressure and meet targets.
    • Strong processing accuracy.
    • Good analytical and numerical reasoning skills; Ability to problem solve operational issues.
    • Innovative and creative personality.
    • Team player.
    • Computer literate including: excel (advanced excel would be an advantage).
    • Ability to follow operational processes and business rules
    • Ability to manage member customer service enquiries in professional manner.
