Job Description
- Conducts continuous research, sourcing and selection of products, materials, supplies, items, equipment, tools and or services from various suppliers, integrators, service providers, vendors and partners as needed by the company then wait for their response or quotation.
- Reviews the submitted quotation then negotiates prices and payment terms with existing and or new suppliers, integrators, service providers, vendors and partners.
- Processes purchase order payment.
- Monitors deliveries and purchase orders on the system.
- Endorses products, materials, supplies, items, equipment, tools and/or services to the end users and collect their feedback or evaluation.
- Requires all suppliers, integrators, service providers, vendors and partners to accomplish the accreditation form and require them to submit all necessary accreditation documents.
- Conducts background check and ocular inspection to new and/or existing suppliers, integrators, service providers, vendors and partners’ plants, warehouse, shops and/or offices.
- Provides performance evaluations of suppliers, integrators, service providers, vendors and partners when needed or required by the company.
- Prepares the weekly, monthly and annual summary of the following reports: served purchase orders, unserved purchase orders, summary of purchases and savings report.
- Maintains a complete and updated purchasing data and records: product catalogues, product lists, price lists, quotations, accreditation requirements, company profiles, contact numbers and contract or service agreement.
- Maintains a systematized filing system of all the documents relevant to Purchasing department.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least three (3) years relevant experience in purchasing or supply chain.
- Strong human relations skills.
- Good communications skills, both in oral and written Filipino and English language.
- Analytical, proactive, result oriented and has leadership capabilities.
- Can work under pressure and can handle multiple assignments.
- Can do field work when necessary.
- Computer literate with adept knowledge on MS Office applications (MS EXCEL and MS WORD).
- Experience on Supply Chain programs is an advantage.
