Job Description
The Legal Assistant is responsible for the preparation and drafting of all legal documents such as Contract of Lease, Demand Letter, Minutes of the Meeting and other legal correspondence. He/She shall perform secretarial functions to assist the Legal Counsel. He/She is tasked to liaise with different government agencies for various legal transactions. He/She shall be representing in behalf of the company, in the absence of the legal counsel during court hearings and mediation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, Political Science, Legal Management or any related field.
- Must have at least 2-4 years of experience in a law firm or on the same field.
- Should be knowledgeable with the Philippine Law and capable of doing legal research.
- Must have a strong analytical, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be highly organized and keen to details.
- Ability to do multi-tasking.
- Willing to do field work.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
