Job Description
This is a technical position with primary focus and mastery on the web, mobile, cloud, DevOps, and automation Mastery of Software Engineer skills is required. Certifications are an advantage but not required.
You'll be exposed to the following:
- Languages: Scala, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, SQL
- Advantage if knows: Go
- Testing: ScalaTest, JUnit, JMeter or Gatling or similar
- Advantage if knows: Selenium
- Databases: MySQL or PostgreSQL, Redis
- Platforms: Android or iOS, Virtualization (VirtualBox or similar), Docker
- Advantage if knows: Kubernetes, Helm
- Tools: Git, Gitlab or Github or BitBucket, Jenkins
- Cloud Computing: AWS or GCP or Azure
- Frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Angular JS or Ionic or similar, gRPC or Protobuf or similar
- Operating Systems: Windows or Linux or Mac
- Computer Science concepts such as: OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms and Concurrency
- Software Engineering concepts such as: SDLC, Scrum, Design Patterns, Security, Software Testing, REST, Web Services, Single Page Apps and Microservices
- Software Testing concepts such as: TDD, Unit Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Test Automation
- DevOps concepts such as: CI / CD, Containerization, Orchestration
- Database concepts such as: Normalization, SQL, NoSQL, Concurrency, ACID
- Security concepts such as: SQL injection, XSS, XSRF, Hashing, Encryption, PKI, and Signing
Minimum Qualifications
- Communicate ideas effectively both in written and verbal
- Train oneself in various technologies
- Be a self-starter.
- Develop in a headless environment.
- Work with a team
- Work with minimum supervision
- Work under pressure
- Mentor colleagues from the Software Engineer level and below
